Amy Fater

Senior Planner

Amy joined Landwise in 2021 and brings institutional, government and private sector experience. Prior to Landwise, Amy was the Associate Director for Planning at Harvard University. In that role she supported the University's physical growth and development, primarily focused on strategic planning for the Allston campus. She managed institutional master plan submissions and was an integral part of early planning efforts for the Enterprise Research Campus, a new mixed-use innovation district being undertaken with development partners.

Amy previously worked for EYP Architecture & Engineering, an integrated design firm where she completed master plans for higher education and government clients across the country. She began her career in the public sector as a planner for the City of Salem, MA; this followed graduate school internships with the Town of Amherst, MA and her hometown of Newport, RI.

Amy received her Master of City and Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Hampshire. Amy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and recognized as a LEED Accredited Professional by the United State Green Building Council.
