Auburn University – Expansion of the Park Auburn, AL

Landwise Advisors was engaged by the Auburn Research and Technology Foundation (ARTF) for several services relating to the expansion of Auburn Research Park (The Park) in Auburn, Alabama anchored by the flagship of Auburn University. ARTF supports Auburn University's research and economic development mission to grow the research enterprise, create industry partnerships, and provide an entrepreneurial business environment in the Auburn Research Park. The Park currently encompasses 171 plus acres, seven existing buildings, 485,000 square feet of office and lab space with 1,000 plus full-time employees.

Landwise was engaged during a Sasaki-led master planning effort to undertake a market analysis to inform future development and phasing of this innovative research campus, as well as model development pro forma. Landwise also completed an economic impact analysis to highlight economic benefits anticipated to result from the expansion. Additionally, Landwise identified developers for potential consideration and drafted a Request for Interest & Qualifications which can be used by ARTF for a future development team selection process.
